I am a technology professional living in Greenbrier, TN north of Nashville. I work as a manager of an IT department on the operations side. My responsibilities include our servers, networking, voice and technical support. Some of my current interests include OpenSource technologies, VoIP telephony, Linux networking, and collaboration systems including Jabber and Zimbra.
This blog is intended to be a platform to promote OpenSource ideas and software and be a source of problem solving solutions. I’ve used FOSS software to provide robust features for enterprise needs. I want to share my experiences for others in my position saving people from banging their heads against the wall.
